This is a very old Nizam-era mango from India, where there are still some plantings of it in existence in Telangana state. The name is sometimes spelled “Mahmoods Vikarabad” or “Mahmooda Vikarabad”. The fruit is medium sized having thin skin. Flesh is moderately firm and fiberless. Fruit turns yellowish green when ripe.
